Maynard grew up in Pennsylvania and moved to Roanoke, Virginia in 1992 with his wife, Rachel. They have been married nearly 30 years and have three grown sons, two daughters and one granddaughter. In 2012, God burdened Maynard about reaching the Jewish population of the Greater Roanoke area with the Good News of Yeshua the Messiah. Through a mutual friend, Maynard met Tony and was part of the first public meeting of Hope of Israel in November of 2013. The rest is history! At Hope of Israel, Maynard serves as a teaching elder and the treasurer.
