Welcome To Hope of Israel Congregation
We are a Messianic congregation which is a Messiah-centered community of both Jewish and non-Jewish (Gentile) who proclaim Yeshua (Jesus) as the Messiah of Israel and savior of the world.
Together we serve as a two-fold witness of God’s faithfulness to Israel and the nations. All visitors both Jewish and non-Jewish, interfaith couples of those searching are welcome to join us to meet new people and learn about the love and faithfulness of God found in Messiah.

OUR SERVICES
Learning for All!
Our congregation provides instruction in the faith based in a Jewish frame of reference for all ages.
We also have additional opportunities to learn outside of Shabbat during the year.
Weekly Shabbat Service
Every Saturday at 11:00am In-Person, on Facebook or Youtube
Nursery and Preschool
Up to 3 (nursery) and 3-5 Preschool every week during adult message
Children’s Torah Class
Ages 5-12; 1st and 3rd Saturdays during adult message
Teen Life
Meet on 2nd Shabbat every month for class with food, fellowship and learning to walk with the Lord. Bar and Bat Mitzvah available.
Sisterhood
Meets on a regular basis for Bible Studies, Community Outreach, group outings and annual retreat.
New Member Discipleship
We help all of our members to develop as disciples so they can then make disciples.

MESSIAH YESHUA
OUR CORE BELIEFS
There is one God
Shema Israel Adonai Eloheinu, Adonai echad.
We believe this one God is a complex unity (echad) eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
We believe that God is all knowing, all powerful, ever present, and changeless and that He is righteous, faithful, merciful and loving.
His Son, Messiah Yeshua
We believe that Messiah Yeshua is the eternal and only begotten Son of God, conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of a Jewish virgin, Miriam.
He was sinless in His life and He made atonement for the sins of the world by the shedding of His blood upon death.
We believe in His bodily resurrection from the dead. His ascension, His high priestly work in Heaven for us, and his visible pre-millennial return to the world according to His promise.
The Holy Spirit
We believe the Ruach Ha Kodesh (Holy Spirit) is a person of the Godhead; and as such, He possesses all the distinct attributions of Deity.
He is ever present to glorify and testify of Messiah Yeshua. We believe according to the Brit Chadashah (New Covenant), the Ruach Ha Kodesh permanently indwells, regenerates and seals the believer.
He empowers, sovereignly imparting at least one spiritual gift to every believer for the purpose of edifying and equipping the Body of Messiah.

Founding Pioneers
It has been by God’s grace, faithful mentors, leaders and servants that Hope of Israel has been established. It has been glorious to see the work of the Lord in developing Hope of Israel as a light in the great Roanoke valley and beyond. Our hope and prayer is that as the community grows other healthy messianic congregations will be planted to be discipleship making centers that share the good news of Yeshua to the Jew first and equally to non-Jewish individuals. All glory to Yeshua our Messiah!
