what is torah club?

It’s where disciples learn though serious and intentional small-group studies where disciples study the Bible from a Jewish perspective. For the next Torah cycle, we will be exploring the Gospels from a Jewish perspective by diving into the life and teachings of the Jewish Messiah: Yeshua.


who is torah club for?

Anyone who desires to study in an interactive weekly study with other disciples of Yeshua. In fact, Torah Club spans the globe. There are diverse communities of disciples that are growing and learning together everywhere. We’ll be studying the Bible alongside people in Israel, China, Australia, Africa, Europe, Canada, across the US, and more.


Why Torah Club?

By the end of a year of Torah study, you’ll have a much better understanding of your Bible, perhaps be connected with new friends, and have a closer walk with God.


When is Torah Club?

We will meet weekly (probably Thursday nights) from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm. Since Torah Club follows the Torah cycle, the introductory session is October 8th. Torah Club members should register by September 12th so that there is no delay in receiving their materials. 


How much is Torah Club?

The cost for printing the materials is $60. Yes, just $60 for the entire an entire years’ worth of scholarly commentary that will deepen your understanding of the Bible and draw you closer to God. You will also have access to the Torah Club community – to ask questions, discuss various topics, and access to additional resources. Financial help is available so please do not let this be a deciding factor.


How does Torah Club work?

Each week, we will meet at the HOI Hub for about 1 ½ hours. We will begin with a Portion Connections video, that includes Torah Club updates and teachings from the weekly portion to help set the stage for discussion. We will go through the Focus Questions in the Student Workbook, which contains Messianic Jewish Bible commentary. We will utilize Zoom for remote members and to address Covid concerns.
